Our community partners

To us, a partnership means much more than making a donation. Of course, money is important too (we're in the top 10 corporate donors to charity), but we like to roll our sleeves up and work closely with partners who share our passions and values.

Five organisations that we have a special relationship with are English Heritage, The Children's Society, Sue Ryder Care, NADFAS and Gloucester Rugby Club. They're quite different organisations, but they all share our commitment to working with people and their communities.

National Association Of Decorative and Fine Arts Society (NADFAS)

NADFAS's appreciation and enjoyment of art and heritage reflects our own, sharing a passion for maintaining church and heritage buildings for everyone to enjoy.

We support the Church Recorders group within NADFAS.  This group is dedicated to recording the material artefacts of churches in order to provide a chartered history of the heritage behind the church.  We have found such records invaluable when dealing with claims for church items, which have been stolen or vandalised.  We also support the Heritage Volunteers who carry out valuable work to conserve and maintain our heritage.

    Gloucester Rugby Club

Ecclesiastical has been a long-term supporter of Gloucester Rugby Club. We're proud of our links with the local community in Gloucester, committed to the city, and keen to encourage an interest in sport. We were the official mascot sponsor for the 2009/2010 season. Our sponsorship meant that the Club could run a mascot competition for each home game, giving youngsters the chance of a lifetime to lead the team out.

    In the local community

We also get involved in local initiatives in our community. One team recently decided to help out the church right next to our offices. The church needed help with a good spring clean, so a dozen volunteers from our offices spent a day polishing pews, washing stained glass windows, sweeping floors, and even dusting the organ pipes!

Gloucester Cathedral Charity Concert

Join us for an evening of Christmas carols, readings and music and help raise money for our local charity partners.
The evening takes place in Gloucester Cathedral on Wednesday 21 December and the audience will be entertained by local choirs including Ecclesiastical's very own choir, the Cathedral's Junior Choir and local school's choirs.
