Ecclesiastical are now supporting KnowHow NonProfit
We’re delighted to announce our sponsorship and support of leading charity resource website KnowHow NonProfit from October 2011, and are really pleased to be working with an organisation that shares our commitment to providing practical and helpful support to charities on key issues.
What is KnowHow?
KnowHow is a fantastic resource for charities that was developed in partnership with the Cass Business School and currently has over 20,000 registered users. For advice and guidance on everything from starting a charity to leadership and governance, KnowHow aims to not only provide key knowledge but to enable users to interact, share their experiences and pass on their learning to one another. KnowHow has developed a reputation in the sector for using innovative learning solutions to reach as wide an audience as possible. Their popular StudyZone multimedia training courses and wiki-able How-to guides are examples of this commitment.
Recently KnowHow has joined with the National Council of Voluntary Organisations (NCVO), the largest umbrella body for the voluntary and community sector in England, which will bring greater opportunities to transform the lives of people and communities for the better.
Our Partnership
In order to better help the sector, Ecclesiastical have been seeking the best way to help provide advice on wider charity issues. After meeting with the KnowHow team, they felt that the best way to do this would be to support the development of the KnowHow NonProfit.
In addition to core funding, Ecclesiastical will provide expertise to enable KnowHow to continue developing useful and practical content. We will start by working with them on a Risk Management Toolkit, specifically designed for the not-for-profit sector.
This is just the start of what we hope will be a long and fruitful partnership, so watch this space for further developments.
