Higher Income Fund

Managed by Rob Hepworth the Higher Income Fund seeks to achieve the investment objective by investing in a mix of equities, fixed interest securities and such other investments that the Manager considers suitable.

Investment objective

To provide an above average and growing level of income together with capital growth over the longer term.The Higher Income Fund also won won the Lipper Fund Award 2011 for best fund over 3, 5 & 10 years (Mixed Asset GBP Balanced category). This is the fifth year in succession that the fund has won the award over a 10 year period.

    Rob Hepworth, our Senior Fund Manager, is AA rated by Citywire*. Rob joined Ecclesiastical as General Investment Analyst in 1988, and was appointed Fund Manager of the Pension Fund in 1990 and the Higher Income Fund in 1994. He has managed the Amity International Fund since its launch in 1999, and co-manages the Amity Sterling Bond Fund with Chris Hiorns.

    Rob has been included by Citywire in its 'Selection' list of Top Fund Managers and has been identified by Trustnet as one of it's Alpha managers based on his consistency of performance. (Both as at 30 August 2011).
